Die Mobile ANT!FOTO BAR geht aus einer Ausstellungs- und Magazinreihe hervor, die seit 2010 von Katja Stuke und Oliver Sieber kuratiert wird. Sie versteht sich als ein Ort des Austauschs und Diskurses über Fotografie und Fotobücher sowie als Treffpunkt verschiedener Fotografie-Akteur*innen – konzipiert nach dem Vorbild kleiner japanischer Themen-Bars. Dieses Mal stellen sie, neben einer Auswahl an Büchern und Filmen zum Thema Mode, Musik und Subkultur, auch das aktuelle ANT!FOTO Magazin vor. Das Magazin enthält Interviews mit Kyoichi Tsuzuki, Andrzej Steinbach, Detlef Weinrich aka Tolouse Low Trax, Sebastian Lux/Stiftung FC Gundlach, Adam Murray, Hanayo, BIEST Berlin u.v.m.

In der Mischanlage der Zeche Zollverein präsentiert die Ausstellung »Beyond Emscher« zeitgenössische Fotografien der Emscherregion. Die Aufnahmen aus den Jahren 2016 bis 2021 dokumentieren in 16 künstlerischen Positionen das soziale Leben, die Landschaft und die Architektur im nördlichen Ruhrgebiet.

Die beteiligten Fotografinnen und Fotografen sind Aymeric Fouquez, Javier Klaus Gastelum, Paul Kranzler, Fatih Kurceren, Jeffrey Ladd, Andreas Langfeld, Bettina Lockemann, Arwed Messmer, Giorgio Morra, Sabine Niggemann, Martin Rosswog, Katja Stuke / Oliver Sieber, Sarah Straßmann, Nikita Teryoshin, Malte Wandel und Petra Wittmar. Ihre Arbeiten sind konzeptuell journalistisch oder künstlerisch-dokumentarisch angelegt.

Diskussion mit Jan Lemitz, Katja Stuke, Arno Giesinger, Oliver Sieber, Anja Schürmann, Elisabeth Neudörfl, Lucia Halder

Die Gesprächsrunde zur Politik der Bilder führt die bildpolitische Debatte der installativen Arbeiten von Arno Gisinger und Bouchra Khaili fort. Von der Laterna Magica über die Dioramen des 19. Jahrhunderts bis zum ersten Camcorder werden visuelle Darstellungsmittel im Zusammenhang mit politischen Kämpfen untersucht, um sie als Teil des kollektiven Gedächtnisses und in ihren Gegenwartsbezügen zu reflektieren.

Im Anschluss: 16 – 20 Uhr

Door and Leporello photobooks et al. have invited Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber to work between the two spaces, creating an exhibition and a book display at the bookstore about their artistic journey, as well as their suggestions and inspirations related to the theme of the city. Moreover, they will be holding a workshop – also on the theme of the city – at Door.
